| To Our Prospective
Members:
Williams County Airport Boosters (WCAB) was formed in
an attempt to enhance the Williams County Airport, which
will in turn help the economic development of our
community. WCAB has sponsored fly-in events with
Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities (MRDD),
Business After Hours, and we were able to provide
matching funds for a new runway lighting system costing
more than $350,000. Currently we are working with the
Williams County Commissioners and the Williams County
Airport Authority to put together projects that will
maximize the available funds from various organizations
and government agencies.
We are in the process of expanding our
organization. We have changed the membership
investment structure to better fund projects and events
that are spelled out in our mission statement below.
WCAB is a not for profit 501(c)(3) organization formed
under the Internal Revenue Code. This means that your
total investment in WCAB can be taken as a charitable
contribution. I hope you see this as a win-win
situation. We are making the membership year end April
15. This may help you in your tax planning in the
future!
WCAB is in the process of scheduling meetings, events
and projects for the remainder of 2007 and 2008. This
is where we need your help. Please complete and return
your Membership Investment Statement. It is very
important to give us an idea where you might be willing
to help us take WCAB to the next level. If you are not
able to help us in person, please make your investment
as large as possible to help us grow our organization.
